IDeA (Initiatives for Development of Armenia) Charitable Foundation was established by the entrepreneurs and philanthropists Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend. The Foundation focuses on programs which achieve tangible socioeconomic development and assist Armenia in transition from the survival model to the prosperity model. IDeA is committed to promoting social entrepreneurship in Armenia through investments in long-term, non-profit projects, as well as ensuring their sustainability. Ruben Vardanyan supports GPH via IDeA Foundation.
The Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted to upholding the Armenian heritage through educational, cultural and humanitarian programs. Each year, AGBU is committed to making a difference in the lives of 500,000 people across Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and the Armenian diaspora.
The Armenian Relief Society, Inc. (ARS) was founded in New York in 1910 and was known at the time as the Armenian Red Cross. Today, with entities in 26 countries and a membership of over 15,000, it is an independent, nonsecterian, philanthropic society serving the humanitarian, social and educational needs of Armenian and non-Armenians alike.
